BE HERE NOW  (Feature Film Drama)

An all-local Traverse City film in production throughout 2010

Project's Website:  beherenowthefilm.com

'Be Here Now' is a film about an exciting and practical path toward inner freedom through life changing connections and personal yet shared creativity.  The path is freestyle shared partner dancing and the healing and growth it invokes.

The level of trust, support and presence each must bring to the dance, shifting roles moment by moment, is very metaphorical for our lives and each person’s unique relationships; to ourselves, to others and to the earth.

There are seven main characters, along with dance instructor/philosopher Mykl.  These seven people find deeper connections and more meaningful lives while exploring this new and unique form of dance…opening themselves to this expansive, potentially life altering path.

This film is for and about all people; young, old, male, female, mainstream, alternative, all connecting through the incredible place a partner-centered dance has the ability to take us.  In this place, we find we are not alone and see what it is that really matters to us. We see if what we have been prioritizing in our lives is supporting or diminishing our wellbeing and we find new options and choices in places we never dreamed of.

The film contrasts differing patterns of life and makes obvious which paths lead to higher levels of personal and societal development.  Collectively, our community’s quality of life is dependent upon each one of us becoming a conscious individual willing to take the risks necessary to obtain more meaningful lives.

'BE HERE NOW' shares with the world the cultural revolution and personal transformations possible through involvement in shared partner dancing and its accompanying life philosophies.  The story exemplifies the highest levels of communication and makes available the tools needed to tap into each individual’s personal creative potential.

'BE HERE NOW' is about positive growth and changing consciousness, which we are exemplifying throughout the entire process of the project’s creation.

This film is about the essence of dance and the balance of giving and receiving right now in this present moment.  It is about how exploring that essence will lead us to create a way to live a more balanced existence in our lives outside of the dance.  This film shows us the power of walking this practical path, which requires us to Be Here Now.

The Mo(ve)ment Effect - Art Without Boundaries (Documentary)

The Documentary is to be released in Spring of 2010

All principle photography was completed on schedule by August 2009

Mo(ve)ment's principle artists, Tali Farchi-v.d Wouden (painter) and Benno Hübner (dancer) live and work from Zwolle. For the past six years they have been performing the show Mo(ve)ment in schools all over The Netherlands as a part of the CKV program. As well, the group has performed to audiences and festivals throughout Europe, the U.S., South Africa, and Israel.  The film will focus on the effect the group's performance has on audiences of all ages and cultures. Mo(ve)ment has captured the hearts of audiences in many parts of the world and they have been making efforts to span cultural gaps through the creative sharing and artistic expression the show embodies. Westonfilm feels that this story needs to be told at this time. The film will highlight how these artists and their show are making a difference in the world as well as in real peoples' lives on very personal and individual levels.
